Tim Clark DipArch (Bartlett UCL); RIBA; MA (York); M.ASCE; MCIArb; FRAS; Hon.FICWCI; FCIEA; GSAS CGP (Sustainability All Sectors).
Tim is a licensed Architect in New York and California, registered with ARB London and in Bavaria, where he now lives. His pioneering work at the University of York to enable health-sector Architects to become CEOs, led to Professorships at Queens University Belfast and at the University of Yaounde in West Africa, where his off-grid Rainforest Research and Conference facilities were nominated for the Agha Kahn Prize. He co-founded Clark+Kanner in Los Angeles (1995-2007), started RIBA-USA in 1996 and was elected its first President. He wrote the first Continuing Education accord between AIA and RIBA and guidelines for the mutual recognition of US and UK architects. In 2018, after a decade as Director of Architecture on the Dubai Metro, in Doha and in KSA he was elected RIBA Councillor for Europe representing 1500 members for whom he hosts a variety of online events and webinars. His current work focuses on promoting inclusion in the architectural profession and advocating for affordable housing, rail transportation and sustainable communities.
The Pride Road Franchise grew out of Founder Lisa Raynes’ refusal to accept that there was only one way for a woman to have an architecture career and a family life. She built her practice in the domestic sector, and then invested to turn her business into one that other ambitious architects wanting work/life balance can buy into. She’s had a seat on the RIBA Council (2015-18), been Chair of Women in Property NW and founded Manchester Curious, an urban architecture outreach festival. A key focus of the Pride Road Franchise business in a box is the fully-automated customer relation management system, this system helps lead a flow of new clients to our franchisees.
