How long can it take to qualify as an Architect?

Kwamena Beecham is an Architect at Pilbrow & Partners, London. 

Kwamena gained his Part 1 from Plymouth university where his dissertation investigated the role of the architect in the 21^st century. He continued his studies and obtained his Part 2 at Birmingham City University, where his written thesis investigated the perception of success in buildings, while testing the themes uncovered with a design thesis reintroducing a statement railway station in Morecambe Lancashire. Following this he completed his Part 3 at Westminster university and became a chartered Architect. 

In his relatively short career, Kwamena has stood for RIBA council elections, mentored students and has been a visiting tutor at Birmingham city university and UEL. After taking a break from teaching to focus on his part 3 and young family, Kwamena is now looking to the horizon for new opportunities to help the next generation of Architects grow and flourish.
